Good morning Parents,

The Great Pumpkin meet is coming up next Saturday. We are trying to get a head count on swimmers and get volunteers signed up to help run the meet. We need setup and takedown, timers, and stroke and turn officials. We ask that you please enter your children in the meet as soon as possible. Volunteer jobs are up so please find a spot where you would enjoy serving.

Relays - we are going to let the kids build their own relay teams. They just need to keep their combined age under the 28 yrs (100 free relay) and 48 yrs (200 free relay). If your child needs help finding a relay team, we will help them find one.

There will be a costume parade around the pool before the meet so please have your children bring their costumes. They can change after warm ups for the parade. 

The children can pick 4 events. The 25 free at the end of the meet as well as the relays are bonus events and do not count towards their 4 events.

We have heat winner prizes and heats that are “hot” which means everyone competing in that heat gets a prize.

It will be a fun, festive day. Race Day is a reward for all of the hard work and effort that the swimmers put in at practice. If at all possible please try to bring your swimmer to this event. It will be a fun day of team building, racing, and hanging out with friends.
