The first Swim Assessment date is scheduled for January 31st!

Swim Assessments are designed to help our coaches evaluate NEW Barracuda swimmers to ensure they are swim-safe and ready to participate in swim team practices. Assessments also allow coaches to determine the most appropriate practice group placement based on each swimmer’s skill level.

Date: January 31st
Time: 10am - 11am: 8 and Under
           11am - 12pm: 9+ year olds

During the assessment, swimmers will be expected to listen carefully and follow directions from the coaching staff.

To be considered for the Barracudas, new swimmers must be able to safely swim 25 yards unassisted but does not need to be done perfectly. Coaches will primarily assess freestyle ability and overall water safety, and may also observe familiarity with additional strokes to help determine appropriate group placement.

A second Swim Assessment date will be scheduled in March for families unable to attend in January.
