Hello Barracuda Family:

Last week’s meet against Rio Del Oro was a challenge but our swimmers had 274 Personal Bests!! This is a testament of the hard work and Barracuda perseverance our team displayed on Saturday!!

This week we swim against the Glen Oaks Sea Lions at their pool located at Glen Oaks Swim & Tennis Club, 4301 Paradise Drive, Carmichael, CA 95608. The Sea Lions are a well-coached team so we will need to bring our best efforts again!

Parking is limited and you should plan on parking on the street. The small lot is reserved for coaches from both teams and Glen Oaks Board members. Please be thoughtful when parking. Take care not to block driveways, RV & boat storage access, home access or the yellow warning surfaces of the sidewalk (if you block a neighbor’s driveway, they will have your car towed).

Glen Oaks Swim Team home meets host dual meets with a six-lane pool. All meets are connected through time drops and updated on the Swimtopia app throughout the meet. Time drops code is 4301.

Glen Oaks swimmers will check in by 6:45am to begin warm-ups at 7am, while we will check in promptly at 7am so that last minute scratches and changes can be made. Our team warm-ups will be from 7:40am-8:15am. Glen Oaks always strives to begin the meet on time at 8:30am. Visiting team set up in on the north end of the pool in the large grass area. The gates will be open for setup by 6:30am.

Lastly, as a reminder, please remind your Swimmers to refrain from playing in the JRRC locker rooms. Please apply all aerosol sunscreens while on the pool deck and not in the locker rooms.
