Hello swimmers, I hope you had a great weekend! Below are some important dates and information for the week. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We had a great time meeting new families at the Kickoff last week. Attached is the slideshow deck that covers all the information that was covered. Announced at the meeting were the Fitter & Faster Swim Clinics we will be hosting in May. If your swimmer is looking for some extra instruction for starts, turns and technique, this is the clinic for them! Spots are limited so sign up today.

SWIM SUITS: We had suits out last week on the pool deck for swimmers to try on sample suits to determine their size. We will be on the deck again this week on TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. All suit orders should be placed by this FRIDAY so they arrive in time for our first meet. Order directly from our website and suits will be shipped to your house.

NUYO: Next week we will have an opportunity for you to support the Barracuda’s and get a tasty treat! Join us at NuYo on Tuesday at 21st from 3pm-7pm. You will need to show the attached flier and 20% of proceeds go back to the JRB!

SPONSORSHIP: We are so grateful to all the organizations and families who have already committed to be a sponsor for the 2026 season! If you or someone you know is still interested the deadline is Friday the 17th. Please contact Dean for more information.

VOLUNTEERS: We are still in need of Age Group Tent & Relay Organizers (1–2 families per gender/age group). This role supports swimmers during meets, ensures they get to the ready bench on time, and confirms relay legs/strokes. 7–8 Boys is already full. 6U Boys just needs one more family. Need 6U Girls, 7/8 Girls, and 9/10 Girls and Boys.
