Hello Barracuda Families,

We just wrapped up our final dual meet of the season against the Elk Grove Piranhas, and wow, what a meet! Over half of our swims were personal bests, with some truly jaw-dropping time drops and several new MOC qualifiers! It was a tough loss to take, but hard to complete at our potential with only 60% of our team at the meet. Never the less, the kids stepped up and swam their hearts out. From what I could see on the deck and in the team area, it looked like they had a blast doing so! We may have been outnumbered, but we weren't out-spirited!

A heartfelt thank you to all of you parent volunteers, especially those who were flexible for last minute shift adjustments and those that took on a bonus shifts even after already having fulfilled their season obligations. Thanks to your efforts, the meet ran smoothly (at least on our side), with no significant glitches or gaps in our support for the meet. Your commitment truly is the heartbeat of this team and brings these meets to life for the kids. I’m proud to be on deck with such an amazing crew and can't tell you how much I appreciate you all.

We're now in the final week of our regular season before CHAMPS! Stay tuned for more to come with Spirit & Coaches Appreciation this week. It’s going to be full of fun and fine tuning for fast swimming, coach appreciation, and team spirit.

The week will come to a head on with our CHAMPS RALLY on Thursday, July 17 from 6–9pm @ Pete’s in Roseville, where we’ll be decorating cars, making posters, and getting pumped for Champs. Pete’s has been a generous team sponsor this year and offers a FREE kids cheese pizza with any regular food purchase. They'll also have Happy Hour specials, so bring the whole family and stay for dinner.

Let’s finish strong, have some fun, and show up loud and proud at Champs!
