JRB President Update - June 2025
Hello Barracuda Families!
Well, the 2025 Season is well underway now! I hope you & your family have been having fun so far! A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers that have made our events such a great success so far.
With June upon us, here’s a look ahead at things you need to know:
1) SplashDash is June 4th (TOMORROW!) - Team Event - SplashDash Fundraiser
All swimmers will be participating in the Swim-a-thon during their practice time. Please help sponsor them to reach the goal of $40 per swimmer in order to maintain our Personal Best rewards and Age Group activities this season. We’ll have raffles, music, and a lot of fun on deck, so come out & support the kids. Check out the SplashDash page to sponsor your swimmer, see the latest updates, and view the top swimmer fundraising progress.2) Get your Barracuda Gear at the JRB Team Store
There’s still time to get gear delivered before the first meet, while supplies last! Visit the TEAM STORE to place your orders!3) Barracuda Team Picture Day - Signups REQUIRED!
Remember, individual team pictures are required in order to create our Team Poster. Sign up your swimmer for their time slot on June 10th or 18th between 8-11am.
An alternate date signup at the Ultimate Exposures studio in Roseville is available on June 5th between 3:30-5:30pm as well.
Personal Bests are updated and highlighted on each swimmer’s Athlete Report Card!
We’ve highlighted our 35 MOC Qualifiers on our MOC information page
Volunteer Shift completion report is now visible on our website so you know where you stand.5) MOC Qualifiers and GOLD CAP REWARDS!
We’re starting a new tradition! MOC Qualifiers will receive the new & exclusive GOLD MOC CAP! If you see a swimmer in a gold cap, give them a pat on the back!Finally, a couple of reminders...
* Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed in the pool area during our swim meets, as per NCSL & USA Swimming rules.
* Please remind your swimmers to use respectful language when at JRSC, we’ve had issues.
Summer Practice Schedule starts next week
* We shift to morning practice times starting June 8th. Updated schedule is posted.
Mid Season Survey is coming!
* We’ll be sending out our Mid-Season Survey next week. * Please take the time to provide your feedback so we can know what is working and what is not.
