Communications Board Position Open for 2026 Season
Hello Parents,
The JRB Board role for Communications has opened up for the 2026 Summer Season. We have already started planning for the 2026 season and meet every month, so if you are interested please let us know by emailing us at[email protected].
The basic (but not limited to) job duties and expectations are below:
COMMUNICATIONS - JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communications Chair is responsible for communicating with members of the team.
The Communications Chair is responsible for developing a direct e-mail to facilitate direct communications between the Board and the team
The Communications Chair, in conjunction with the President and Vice President, shall coordinate the maintenance and updates to the Barracudas website.
The Communications Chair shall publicize all meets, clinics and special events.
The Communications Chair shall coordinate with and guide the Social Media coordinator to ensure our messaging and hype is reaching the team through all available channels.
Publish Weekly Streamline Newsletter.
Manage Web Site Maintenance/Updates.
Responsible for ensuring all social & team events are on the website with the help of the Social & Registrar Chairs.
Routinely communicate information to the team.
Develop appropriate level of communication & guidance for families new to the Barracuda experience.
Oversee Social Media presence to ensure Social Media is routinely marketing & informing the team.
Help other board members with projects they are working on that need communication out to the team.
