Meet of champions 2008


Please check if your swimmer has qualified here by time. The swimmers qualify either by time or if they made it to the finals at champs. The qualifying times are posted here. Double check there also in case we missed some swimmer in the listing above. Please send an email to Steffi Jones with the following information:

Meet entries are due by Monday night (07/28) ... please respond fast!!!

  • Name of swimmer
  • Age group
  • Qualified event(s)
  • Bonus event (every swimmer may chose one more event than qualified for). For 6 and under swimmers who qualified in back and free the bonus event can be either breast or fly. Both strokes will be offered for this age group at MOC.
  • Are you available for relays (Saturday and/or Sunday)?
  • Make check payable to JRRC ($3 per chosen event + $10 pool fee). Checks need to be dropped off at JRRC at the front desk (Attn.: Annette Stalker - team treasurer) no later than Thursday July 31 (night of the award ceremony)

    Also, if you know that you won't be able to participate send an email. That will make preparation much easier for us.
Practice times:
(Practice will be held Tuesday through Friday)
7:30 am - 8:15 am Level 1 (mainly 6 and under)
8:15 am - 9:45 am 11 years and up
9:45 am - 11 am Level 2, 3 and 4 (mainly 7/8 and 9/10)

Qualification Methods
  1. League Championships: Finish in the top 10 places at your league's championship meet.
  2. Qualification Times: Meet a qualifying time in an event.  See the Qualifying times.
BONUS EVENT Swimmers who have qualified for at least one event, may enter one additional event over and above what they have qualified for.

Fees

   Pool Fee $10 (One time fee per swimmer)
Splash Fee $3 (Fee per event entered)
