Spring Clinics

 
March 1st through March 31st, 2010

Coach John Hooten will be conducting a Pre-Season Swim Team Clinic Program. 

PLEASE NOTE: By league rules, a swimmer will be ruled ineligible to swim with the Barracudas if it's found they:

  1. Participated in more than 3 clinics within a week -or-
  2. Received more than 60 minutes of coaching in a day -or-
  3. Swam more than 50 yards without stopping for instruction during our Spring Clinics in March.  

The cost of the clinics are $25/week for Level 1 and $36/week for Level 2/3.  Please sign-up for these clinics at the south side front desk starting Monday, February 1, 2010.

  • Level 1 sessions are primarily for 5-6 year olds and some beginner 7-8 year olds.  Sessions run from 3:45 to 4:15
  • Level 2 sessions are for swimmers who have not yet mastered the basic rhythm of all strokes.  Sessions run from 4:30 to 5:30
  • Level 3 sessions are for experienced swimmers who have mastered every stroke rhythm and would like to perfect their technique.  Sessions run from 5:30 to 6:30 and from 6:30 to 7:30.

Registration forms will be available at the Front Desk on the South side, starting Monday, February 1, 2010.

Week 1 - March 1st through March 4th

  • Level 1: Freestyle Part 1 3:45 - 4:15 - $25
  • Level 2: Freestyle 4:30 - 5:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Freestyle 5:30 - 6:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Freestyle 6:30 - 7:30 - $36

Week 2 - March 8th through March 11th

  • Level 1: Freestyle Part 2 3:45 - 4:15 - $25
  • Level 2: Backstroke 4:30 - 5:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Backstroke 5:30 - 6:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Backstroke 6:30 - 7:30 - $36

Week 3 - March 15th through March 18th

  • Level 1: Backstroke Part 1 3:45 - 4:15 - $25
  • Level 2: Breaststroke 4:30 - 5:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Breaststroke 5:30 - 6:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Breaststroke 6:30 - 7:30 - $36

Week 4 - March 22nd through March 25th

  • Level 1: Backstroke Part 2 3:45 - 4:15 - $25
  • Level 2: Butterfly 4:30 - 5:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Butterfly 5:30 - 6:30 - $36
  • Level 3: Butterfly 6:30 - 7:30 - $36

Week 5 -

March 29th 

  • Level 3: Flip Turns 5:30 - 6:30 - $12/day
  • Level 3: Flip Turns 6:30 - 7:30 - $12/day

March 30th 

  • Level 3: Open Turns 5:30 - 6:30 - $12/day
  • Level 3: Open Turns 6:30 - 7:30 - $12/day
